5 questions towards policy by the Belgian minister of health
We propose to start with the following 5 objectives :
| A | Diagnosing Lyme on the basis of a clinical questionnaire. Because the existing blood tests are insufficiently reliable. |
| B | Update treatment guidelines for Lyme disease. Think of specific medicines. |
| C | To provide a framework for current and future doctors - to work according to the latest medical knowledge; - and to share their medical knowledge. |
| D | Training for government experts and medical advisors of the health insurance companies, such that patients can work on their long-term health and maintain a fair benefit. |
| E | Improving the accessibility of medicines. |
